YES! You heard correctly.  Alpaca-felted soap is a thing.

It is a life-changing thing and I will go down defending that claim.

You’re skeptical and I don’t blame you.

We’ve been conditioned to think that hair on soap is gross.  And it is.

But felted soap is different.  Think of it as a bar of non-toxic, vegetable-based, soap wrapped in a lovely blanket of soft, luxurious, alpaca.

Why should you care?

I’m so glad you asked!

Felted soap acts like a built-in loofah.  It gently exfoliates without being harsh. When you’re done with the bar of soap, you can place the sudsy bar directly on the counter.  The lather will resorb back into the alpaca fiber and will not leave behind that gooey sludge like a plain bar of soap.
